It’s an argument that’s been raging on for longer than Oasis vs Blur, or Cheryl vs Danni – which is better an LCD TV or a Plasma. The unfortunate and not very helpful answer is – it depends! Most viewers will be better off with an LCD TV as they are more affordable and more economic than a Plasma. However if you’re a real film buff that wants rich blacks, fast images and sumptuous colours then you might want to consider a Plasma Tv. In our opinion the Plasma TV which still completely outshines the competition is the Panasonic Viera Plasma range.
The Viera range is packed with affordable TVs that delivery quality performance and a high-end high definition viewing experience. But expect to pay a price for it.
For the rest of us with less demanding standards for our TV experience, a 1080p LCD TV will deliver a perfectly good viewing experience and will thankfully cost a lot less than a plasma equivalent.
